The 292 Centre is an elite performance facility located in the heart of London, designed to bring athletes, coaches and practitioners together to create the complete performance experience.
At its core is a commitment to understanding the athletes we work with. Physical profiling and data analysis provide objective insight into an athlete’s capabilities, enabling training and rehabilitation to be shaped around measurable needs and long-term goals.
Alongside a comprehensive training floor, which contains an extensive strength and conditioning facility, the Centre offers dedicated treatment facilities and areas for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The Centre’s experienced partners bring expertise from elite sport across multiple disciplines, creating opportunities for athletes to access complementary services and perspectives within a single environment.
We use the 292 Centre as a space to think critically, enabling our staff to challenge themselves and other practitioners in the wider performance community during Continuous Professional Development events.
The Centre is a space for collaboration between athletes, coaches and our partners, bringing expertise together to create a truly integrated and holistic performance experience.
We foster a connected community where athletes can train, learn and collaborate within an environment defined by shared ambition and exceptional standards.
Using experience, data, and sound judgement to support performance when the margins are small, 292 provide individualised performance support for elite athletes, agencies, clubs, and organisations operating in high-pressure environments.
Our athlete services combine an in-depth profiling process which contains neuromuscular and mobility assessments to identify priorities and help create bespoke training programmes which we adapt based on communication with individuals and wider stakeholders.
We also also provide integrated rehabilitation and return-to-play support, helping athletes rebuild capacity and return to performance with confidence.
For clubs and organisations, 292 can offer performance and medical audits, embedded performance staff, recruitment support, and staff development and education courses.
This work is designed to strengthen existing environments, improve alignment, and create systems that are clear, consistent, and built to last.
Across every service, the focus remains the same: preparation, precision, and accountability.
Our profiling apparatus enables us to establish detailed physical benchmarks across a range of key performance metrics, providing a clear and objective picture of an athlete’s current capabilities.
Using our AI-driven processes, we compare these metrics to our database of 500+ elite athletes, identifying strengths, highlighting areas for improvement, and creating a clear, measurable progression pathway tailored to the individual.
The opportunity for regular profiling also provides a consistent framework for monitoring progress over time, allowing our coaches to evaluate and adapt training programmes when required.
The 292 Centre possesses an extensive strength and conditioning facility, enabling our coaches to closely monitor athletes’ data and adapt their individualised programmes to ensure long-term targets are reached.
In-person communication between athletes and coaches further fosters alignment, consistency and accountability throughout the training process.
The space possesses a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and strength apparatus, a turf track, free movement equipment and a meditation area, making it suitable for use by individuals competing across a variety of sports.
This also makes the facility suitable for use by travelling athletes and teams ahead of matchdays.
The two physiotherapy rooms in the 292 Centre are operated by our partners Kaizen Physiotherapy & Performance and Athletic Shoulder.
Their practitioners have experience working across multiple sports, including in the Premier League and with Team GB, and their desire for innovation has led them to the forefront of their respective fields.
Access to physiotherapists provides a dedicated environment for preventative care and rehabilitation, allowing athletes to have the complete performance experience under one roof.
The 292 Centre is designed to be a space for critical thinking where our staff and the wider performance community look to challenge each other, learn new things and improve.
By bringing performance and medical staff into closer proximity with athletes, the centre encourages greater communication across disciplines, allowing insights and expertise to be shared seamlessly.
On Thursday evenings, the Centre will play host to a 90-minute Continuous Professional Development workshop, ‘Thinking Thursdays.’
Based on the iconic sessions that led Team GB hockey to Olympic gold at Rio 2016, Thinking Thursdays will be a time for knowledge sharing, critical thinking and problem solving for those in the physical performance and rehabilitation community.
Led by 292’s performance staff and our partners from Kaizen Physiotherapy and Performance and Athletic Shoulder, the events will feature a mixture of presentations, discussions and practical demonstrations.
Combining clinical expertise with strength and conditioning, movement assessment and performance principles, Kaizen takes a highly-individualised approach to rehabilitation.
Their work spans injury assessment and recovery, sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, injury prevention and performance optimisation; their central objective is to do rehab honestly.
Working closely with 292’s coaching team, Kaizen can ensure clinical insight directly informs individualised loading, injury prevention and return-to-performance strategies, creating a seamless pathway from recovery to peak performance.
Athletic Shoulder use their decades of elite sporting experience to create an environment that improves the recovery and performance of the shoulders of athletes.
Founded by Ben Ashworth, the creator of the ASH test, innovation remains at the heart of Athletic Shoulder’s performance methodology, and they are continuously looking to improve shoulder injury practices globally through education.
Athletic Shoulder brings specialist upper-limb expertise into the wider 292 performance ecosystem, supporting athletes through assessment, injury prevention, rehabilitation and return to performance.
